The tracked information could be vital to share with healthcare providers and having notes to help patients recall more easily may help them to describe their health issues more clearly. Helpful notes may include; reason for needing medication (ex. if I take a Tylenol PRN I may write "arthritis flare up"), symptoms leading up to or following medication dose - characteristics/severity/location/onset of any symptoms or pain related to taking or not taking medication. This may be helpful when reviewing medications with a doctor as they may be able to identify an issue much more easily when the patient can recall and describe specific instances with the help of notes.
